Education & Pathways

Our education programme supports people at all stages of their formal learning and is designed to meet curriculum needs for Theatre Studies, English and ESOL.  We also offer a range of projects and opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and experience for careers in the creative industries and wider personal development.

Our specialist artists and practitioners deliver projects both at Kiln Theatre and in the classroom. If you would like your school, college or university to get involved please contact us.

Minding The Gap

Minding the Gap is drama project for young people who are newly arrived to the UK, forming part of their EAL/ESOL studies. We work in partnership with schools, colleges and charities to deliver creative projects and workshops, developing students’ confidence, language and teamwork skills.  We tailor projects to the learning needs of students, working in partnership with EAL Leaders in formal and informal settings.

Our projects are creative, fun and practical, run by specialist theatre practitioners. They enable students to engage with ideas, develop spoken language skills and confidence, and develop a creative output to be proud of.

Contact us if you are interested in a project for your school or college.

This project is supported by

Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust, Pears Foundation and Mayor of London
