Kiln Theatre’s mission is to offer a platform for unheard or ignored voices, to show the world through different lenses, and to be a local venue with an international vision.

We want to be a theatre where everyone feels welcome and where our borough of Brent is represented, both on and offstage.

That’s why we are proud to present NW Trilogy, a brand new trio of plays told over one evening, which platform and celebrate voices, music and stories of Brent.

Associate Directors Susie McKenna and Taio Lawson launch the NW Trilogy Fundraising Appeal.

Why support this production?

2020 was a tough year for everyone. We can’t wait to welcome our communities back again and to share stories of different worlds and perspectives – ultimately discovering and celebrating all that connects us, rather than what divides us.

Building on the success and resonance of our Kiln Community Appeal, our NW Trilogy fundraising appeal showcases the vibrancy, activism and brilliance of our borough of Brent.

By donating to this appeal, you are showing your support for Brent communities past, present and future. We believe that united communities are stronger communities and we can’t wait for you to see your support in action on our stage.

NW Trilogy explores a myriad of stories in Brent, focusing on:

Hear compelling stories from three Brent migrant communities whose actions and activism changed the course of history.

Dance to a reel in ‘County Kilburn’, immerse yourself in a world of reggae, and stand on the picket lines of the Grunwick Strikecelebrate and honour this vibrant borough.

Join us as we immerse ourselves in soulful explorations of what it means to be part of one of the most dynamic and diverse communities in the world.
