In an uncanny echoing of the current climate, Call Jane stars Elizabeth Banks as Joy, a married woman who becomes unexpectedly pregnant. After desperately seeking an abortion that would prevent congenital heart failure, she teams with a group of suburban housewives to fight back. A stacked deck of acting talent (Sigourney Weaver, Wunmi Mosaku and Kate Mara) form the clandestine community of ‘Janes’, connecting women with their withheld reproductive rights. 

A period piece so chillingly relevant to the recent overturning of Roe vs Wade ruling in the United States, and the ongoing moral debate about abortion, Call Jane enlists a renowned cast in what is a gripping reflection on what it takes for ordinary people to make history.
