On Sunday 6 July at 3pm, join Jim Carter for a special fundraiser and screening of the BAFTA-nominated Pride (2014) – the perfect round-off to Pride weekend itself! Members of the star-studded cast (including Imelda Staunton, Bill Nighy, Jessica Gunning, Elizabeth White and George MacKay*) as well as director Matthew Warchus will join us for a Q&A following the film.

It’s the summer of 1984 Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is on strike. At the Gay Pride March in London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decides to raise money to support the families of the striking miners with surprising results.
