Artistic Policy
Kiln Theatre produces world-class British and international theatre that reflects the exceptional diversity of its local community. Our mission is to make theatre for everyone, and in doing so, uncover our shared humanity.
We are committed to working with world-class talent, telling real human stories and ensuring that a rich range of perspectives exists on Kiln’s stage, both now and in the future.
Kiln Theatre stages around six productions per year in our flexible and unique theatre. Our programming consists of work commissioned and produced by Kiln Theatre’s artistic team, as well as additional work which is programmed in collaboration with our national or international partners.
Script Submissions
- As we do not have a literary department, we do not have the resources to read unsolicited scripts.
- If you would like to invite us to see your production or to attend a reading/workshop, please contact us at artistic@kilntheatre.com. Please note that we receive a very high volume of invitations so there may be some delay to our response – while we try to see as much as we can, our resources are limited.
- We encourage you to familiarise yourself with Kiln Theatre’s work by coming to see our shows or reading work that we have recently produced.
