16 - 18 Youth Theatre
Kiln’s Youth Theatre provides free weekly sessions for young people aged 16–18 who live or learn in Brent. Each session supports participants to build their confidence and creative skills through a variety of exercises and activities, whilst also enabling connection through a shared love of drama.
Over the course of the programme, the participants will work with professional facilitators, directors and creatives, to explore creative processes and exercises and upskilling sessions.
This programme is paused until September 2026, please check this page for further information.
Maladies: 16 - 18 Youth Theatre Production (2025)
Friday 30 & Saturday 31 May
When Empowercast is bought by a major company podcasters Leonie, Tamara, Cleo and Izzy are delighted. But as they start to investigate why a group of women in London have mysteriously fallen silent, they get more than they bargained for, as the silence starts to infect their own friendship group. From women compulsively dancing in Strasbourg in 1518, to schoolgirls catching laughter in Tanzania in 1962, to cheerleaders uncontrollably twitching in 2011, The Maladies is about Mass Psychogenic Illness and how contagion is a form of resistance when people become powerless.’
