HONEYMOON

HONEYMOON

SATURDAY 25 JULY 2020 | 2PM & 6PM

Young Company (19-25) | Work-in-Progress, Online Sharing (via ZOOM)

Kiln Theatre’s Young Company activity has continued this term, allowing young people to share their thoughts and emotions during the COVID-19 pandemic. In place of our usual showcase in the theatre, our 19-25 Young Company have devised a virtual sharing of their work-in-progress to explore the absurdity, difficulty and beauty of our current existence.

In 2016 the United States Department of Health and Human Services commissioned the ‘Phases of Disaster’ report to show how individuals and communities are affected during uncertain times. Regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently experiencing the ‘Honeymoon’ phase.

So, for how long will this ‘Honeymoon’ last? And how might we help and support eachother to begin the journey to ‘Recovery’?
