Tiata Fahodzi – Theatre of the Emancipated – has become the leading British African Theatre company and creates world-class theatre reflecting the cultural experiences of Africans. This is the first production to be directed by Lucian Msamati in his role of Artistic Director and Denton Chikura’s writing debut.
Lucian Msamati (The Nr 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, Game of Thrones) directs a superb company which includes Tanya Fear (Kick-Ass 2), Don Gilet (EastEnders, Babyfather), Nyasha Hatendi (The Ghost, ‘Tis a Pity She’s a Whore) and Ery Nzaramba (The Bacchae, The Snow Queen) as Nhamo.
Creatives include Ben Stones (Designer), Paul Keogan (Lighting Designer) and Helen Skiera (Composer and Sound Designer).
