You are invited to join us for Kiln Theatre Creative Engagement’s Minding the Gap CNWL performances. Over 50 young people will come together to share and perform the devised work they have created over the last six months with creative practitioners on the Kiln Theatre stage.

The participants have also taken part in a series of Guest Practitioner workshops including Dance, Poetry and Singing all to provide stimulus to create their own piece of performance.

Their pieces explore a suspicious gardener, a restaurant celebrity sighting, a bank heist, Zombies, School life, London life and another bank heist!

Kiln’s flagship programme, Minding the Gap, which has been running for over 10 years, is a theatre project for young people aged 14-19 who are newly arrived in the UK, with lived experience of migration and/or who identify as refugees and asylum seekers from Kiln’s partner schools and colleges in Brent. We work with six local schools and colleges EAL/ ESOL departments to provide creative drama-based sessions, which aim to develop students’ creativity, confidence in spoken English, self-pride and engagement in arts and culture.
