16 - 18 Young Company
Kiln’s Young Company provides free weekly sessions for young people aged 16–18 who live or learn in Brent. Each session supports participants to build their confidence and creative skills through a variety of exercises and activities, whilst also enabling connection through a shared love of drama.
Over the course of the programme, the participants will work with creatives from Kiln Theatre and Punchdrunk Enrichment to devise and perform a full-scale immersive production at Punchdrunk Enrichment’s new venue in Wembley Park. The piece will explore matters of importance to the young people and the communities they are part of. The creative process aims to be reflective of professional industry practice, giving further insight into theatre making, should participants want to pursue creative careers further.
We have now selected our Kiln Young Company cohort.
