Young Companies

19 - 25 Young Company

Our 19-25 Young Company is delivered in partnership with a commissioned service based in Brent or NorthWest London.

Our most recent Young Company for this age group was delivered in partnership with Brent Care Journeys. We worked with young people aged 18-25 with experience of the Brent care system, using creative approaches to explore their expert insight given their lived experiences.

Participants used these reflections to co-create a live exhibition that challenged inequalities experienced by Care Experienced Young People (CEYP) and inspired positive change in societal understanding and responses to corporate parenting. The performance was held at Kiln Cinema on 22nd September 2022 and shared with an audience of stakeholders, decision makers and community members.

“[The sessions were] fun and got me interested in acting”

“The games and the facilitators are cool”

“ [I enjoyed] being able to share our views and thoughts about care”

We are not currently accepting applications for 19-15 Young Company at present. For further information about commissioning Kiln to partner on a 19-25 Young Company project, please get in touch at getinvolved@kilntheatre.com.
