Fisherman's Friends: One & All

Ahoy mateys! A sequel off the port bow! The Fishermen’s Friends – everyone’s favourite shanty merchants – are on the verge of releasing their new album, now the toast of London. But back in Cornwall, things are fishy, with the band’s unreconstituted fishermen causing a stir in the press and lead singer Jim (James Purefoy) grieving the death of his father. Can the band hoist the main sail and set a course for success, or are they out of tune and heading for the rocks?

This feel good comedy will buoy your spirits, doubling down on the good humour and West Country pluck of the first film. The overwhelming charm of these songs that derive from working life of the fishing boats will win you over, whether you’re an old sea dog or an unconverted land lubber.
