Having delivered a high watermark for action cinema with Mad Max: Fury Road, director George Miller puts his grease-smeared, petrol-head monstrosity into overdrive for this prequel. Tackling some truly audacious practical stunt work, leads Anya-Taylor Joy (The Menu) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) give genuine emotional stakes to make this a blockbuster to remember
