“A mind-blowing labour of love” Mark Kermode, The Observer
“A true feast of sound and vision.” The Telegraph

David Bowie’s golden years are brought to the screen in suitably kaleidoscopic form in this eye-popper of a documentary. Director Brett Morgan – having brought sensitivity to the life of Kurt Cobain in Montage of Heck – takes the starman into the stratosphere, making epic use of archive material, live performance footage, Bowie’s own experimental video art and paintings, movie, stage work and interviews. Very few artists had so many facets and personas, so it’s tribute enough to the film that the film captures Bowie’s chameleonic forms, as well as his visual flair.
