The Last Journey

In this heartwarming documentary, Swedish TV star Filip ropes his best friend into dragging his father into the land of the living. Depressed, armchair bound and feeling life has passed him by, the two hatch a scheme to take a road trip to France for a jollification mission.

Along the way, they take their orange Renault 4 – top speed 40mph – to reminisce and recapture their happy days holidaying as a family. While there are hilarious and outrageous stunts along the way (with the two friends recreating iconic childhood moments with actors), The Last Journey is ultimately a down-to-earth story about how we can use the past to look to the future.
