Olivia Colman returns to her comic roots after her Oscar-winning run in this Irish odd couple road movie. Joy (Colman) is on her way to Lanzarote, with plans to ditch her new baby with a friend. That’s before her taxicab is hijacked by runaway Mully (Charlie Reed). Queue a hilarious detour across Ireland that sees them both get off at different exits on life’s roundabout.

Following up The Lost Daughter, Olivia Colman brings tenderness to another portrait of a mother with ambivalent feelings about their child, rivalled by a plucky performance from 12-year-old Charlie Reed.
