“Bill Nighy tackles life and death in exquisitely sad drama.” ★★★★★ The Guardian

In a performance that will have you reaching for your tissues, BAFTA winner Bill Nighy gives an understated yet utterly convincing performance that put him in serious contention in the upcoming awards season. Kazuo Ishiguro’s screenplay is a free reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s masterwork about seizing the day. Living follows a 1950s bureaucrat in London and his battle with a terminal illness. This poignant contemporary melodrama raises the conversation about how we spend the time we’re afforded, in a heart-warming tale about impending tragedy and the introspection it brings.

Amongst the star-studded English cast are Amy Lou Wood (Sex Education), Alex Sharp (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) and Tom Burke (The Souvenir).
