From the producer of Bohemian Rhapsody and the director of Training Day, this new biopic of the King of Pop Michael Jackson stars Jaafar Jackson, nephew of the man himself. The film finds him as he steps out from the Jackson Five and the formidable influence of his father (Kiln alumnus Colman Domingo), as he embraces his own creativity to become the biggest musician in the world, abetted by his lawyer-manager John Branca (Miles Teller).

Michael was written by John Logan, who has a strong blockbuster pedigree with Skyfall and Spectre under his belt. Michael keeps the focus firmly on the music, as we follow his tough journey to artistic independence.
