The Fabelmans is director Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical retelling of his adolescence and first years as a filmmaker, told through the original story of Sammy Fabelman.

In a small New Jersey town in 1952, Jewish couple Mitzi and Burt Fabelman take their young son Sammy (Gabriel LaBelle) to see his first film: The Greatest Show on Earth, which is where his joy for filmmaking began. As Sammy’s family relocates to Arizona, he soon discovers a shattering family secret which leads him to explore how the power of films can help him see the truth.

A deeply personal film from Spielberg, The Fabelmans takes us inside the defining moments in early life that would lead to the creation of modern masterpieces like ET and Jurassic Park. His most emotionally honest film yet, complemented by dazzling performances from the likes of Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Seth Rogan in supporting roles. Spielberg’s ode to the power of the movies is simply unmissable.
