The Son

Featuring an Oscar nominated performance from Hugh Jackman, The Son is the latest film adaptation of Florian Zeller’s acclaimed trilogy, and received its world premiere at Kiln in 2019.

Peter (Hugh Jackman) and Beth (Vanessa Kirby) are newly married with a new born, when his ex-wife, Kate (Laura Dern), shows up, concerned about their teenage son, Nicholas (Zen McGrath). Peter’s life is thrown into disarray as he tries to be a good father, despite his traumatic relationship with his own father (Anthony Hopkins).
